Keira Knightley in talks to join Jack Ryan

Actress Keira Knightley is in talks to join actor-director Kenneth Branagh's upcoming film Jack Ryan.

The movie stars Chris Pine in the titular role and Knightley is currently in talks to tackle the leading lady, reported Aceshowbiz.

The actress has beaten a number of Hollywood beauties like Evangeline Lilly and Felicity Jones to take on the part.

This is the first time Knightley will be collaborating with Branagh, who also takes a supporting role in the untitled project.

Serving as a prequel to Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan novel series, the forthcoming film follows Pine's titular character who is a Moscow-based financial analyst.
